Welcome

Welcome to the Salem Playhouse! We are an acting school for teens and adults! Our classes are Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 4pm-6pm for students 8th-12th grade.

Our adult classes are Thursdays 7pm-11pm at Chemeketa Community College, and Saturday afternoons from 12pm-2pm! All classes will be held at Keizer Homegrown Theatre, Except for our Thursday adult class! Click on the button below to learn more!

Monday/Wednesday Teen Class

Mondays, Wednesdays provide 2 opportunities for students 8th-12th grade to attend class! Please click the "Get in Touch" button to email us with any questions you may have!

Thursday/Saturday Class

Thursday evenings from 7pm-11 pm at Chemeketa Community College, and Saturday afternoons from 9am to 12pm, is our Adult class. Not only is it a scene study class for our local artists to hone their crafts; but there is a focus on the administration side of things. Students will be put into groups where they will meet outside of class to help each other accomplish things like getting headshots, writing up resumes, filming scenes together for reels, and anything else a student needs to help them move their career forward!
